Loquat Days

We have two trees in our apartment parking lot that have small orange fruit. We had no idea what kind of fruit. We figured if it were poisonous it would be bitter, and it smelled sweet, so we bit in... pretty good. Nobody else we asked knew what they were, so McKay spent some time online to learn more. My mom planted some, and we have been making Loquat, Loquat/strawberry, and Loquat/Peach jam. Good stuff, but a bit of work. The apartment managers are glad to finally know what they are.
