Twink has a new owner

Someone kept changing my passwords and questions on my email and school accounts because I had been using them on our apartment complex wireless.  I feel paranoid.  I think people doing dishonest things has sadly increased since the economy started getting rough.

Twink sold.  I think she is going to a really great home, though.  She was bought by a lady who is well over 60, but is very active and healthy.  She loves Twink already.   Twink will be on pasture, and will be shown and trail ridden.  She’s near Phoenix Arizona.  She gave me my asking price without haggling.  I also sold my saddle to Tresa’s brother.    It’s weird that I don’t have a horse, but I think it’s for the best for now so I can focus on school and not worry about the time and money I would need to spend with a horse.  In spring I am really hoping to take the horseback riding class USU offers.

I went to my first day at my new job- helping the 5th grade teachers at Woodruff Elementary.  I’m kind of an aid, doing copies and stuff (they told me in the first minute of meeting them that they are perfectionists) but I also helped some kids with math- even trying to teach two kids is hard!

I have finally been studying for the GRE.

I was out running the other morning, and someone had a box in front of their house labeled “free vegges:)."  Very cool.  so I walked the rest of the way home with zucchini in hand.  One was huge- out of just that one I made 4 loaves of zucchini bread and tried a recipe that really tasted like apple crisp!

I have been working with an anxious 4 yr old palomino AQHA mare on Paul Davis’s farm, and Monday she bucked me off as I was in the process of getting on.  Good thing I was wearing a helmet.
