Even more money into car repairs- I hope our car lasts long enough to make it worth it.
When I was riding my bike back from the auto shop, two guy road bikers passed me at a light all duded out in spandex. I stayed right behind them for miles on my mountain bike with my back pack and jeans. It was fun to keep up with them. They turned when I was about to turn so much that I figured they might think I was stalking them or something, so I took a longer detour home.
McKay got called as assistant ward clerk.
McKay made pesto with asparagus instead of basil. He also replaced pine nuts (expensive) with pecans, which we get for free from my parents' tree. I was a little nervous, but it was really yummy. We've also eaten wheat pasta a few times lately and have enjoyed it. McKay has warmed up to some of my "weird" efforts to eat healty i.e. plain yogurt instead of sour cream on tacos.
Class supposedly gets out on Wednesday, but I have stuff due for a few days after. Odd.
The Lord is very good to us.
McKay has decided to take a semester or two longer on his B.A. so he can do some things that will increase his competitive edge when he applies to grad schools, and this way we won't have to be apart for most of a semester:) One of the things he'll be doing is the honors math program.
